PRIVATE - Vineyards Tour, Wine Tasting and Light Lunch

Step into the soul of Valpolicella with a gentle walk through our vineyards, where stories of origins and traditions are shared right among the vines. The path will lead you from our historic vineyard to the family orchard, a place alive with colors and scents. In summer, from June to August, you’ll even be able to pick a peach straight from the tree and savor its freshness — a simple, authentic pleasure.

We will then guide you into the vineyard of 1967, where the Fugolo family discovered century-old vines that still stand today, guardians of a winemaking tradition deeply rooted in this land. Here, every step feels like traveling back in time, immersed in the beauty and history of Valpolicella.

The experience continues in the tasting room, where Sofia, daughter of Gianluca Fugolo, welcomes you with the warmth of true family hospitality. Together with her father and sister, she carries forward the passion and dedication of the family winery.

Your journey will end with a sensory celebration: a tasting of our extra virgin olive oil from the rolling morainic hills of Lake Garda, paired with five of our finest wines:

Rosé Brioso IGT Frizzante, lively and refreshing

Corvina Veronese IGT, the soul of our territory

Valpolicella Superiore Classico DOC, elegant and balanced

Expect a full meal or even more! Be ready for an immersive food experience in a relaxing atmosphere! Here is a list of our Bolzano Food Tour possible tastings: 

• Speck: speck is uncooked, salted and smoked pork that has been aged from six months to two years. Plus, some spices make it so delicious. Speck is often served with traditional bread types and pickled cucumber.
• Bauernschinken: it’s cooked ham flavoured with the same spices used for the speck process. This is a unique and tasty cold cut.
• Canederli: canederli, or knödel, are dumplings made of stale bread moistened with milk and bound with eggs and a tiny amount of flour. The mixture is often enriched with cheese and speck. You will try both the classic and seasonal versions.
• Spätzle: these are homemade dumplings made with wheat flour, eggs, water and boiled spinach. They are simply delicious when topped with cream and speck.
• Laugenbrot or Brezen: laugenbrot is a typical South Tyrolean bread. It’s made by immersing bread rolls in a lye solution before baking. Sometimes, it is stuffed with cheese. The brezen is a ring-shaped bread with a golden and shiny crust covered with salt grains.
• Beer tasting: the South Tyrol beer world has a large range of tastings, from delicate light beers to spicy strong ones. You will taste some beers in an old brewery.
• Strudel: strudel (and especially Apfelstrudel) is the most famous dessert in Bolzano and beyond. A thin sheet of dough is filled, rolled up and, finally, baked. This dessert is a true delicacy, thanks to the genuine ingredients, like the local apples.
• Caffè Espresso: Italian rituals expect you to end your meal with an espresso coffee.

The cooking lesson lasts approximately 3 hours, during which you will have the opportunity to learn how to make pasta using traditional tools to create a variety of shapes paired with classic sauces. This afternoon you will be welcomed in one of the oldest Enoteca in the city of Florence, located in the heart of the historic center, a stone's throw from Piazza Duomo. Since its opening in the 1950s it has always been a family business belonging to the Alessi family. Surrounded by a familiar environment and seated among cases of thousands of wines, you will enjoy your first toast in this wonderful city of art while discovering the oenological excellence of Tuscany.

DAY 2: 
Today you will meet one of our famous and charismatic chefs and learn how to cook a nice Tuscan meal in the heart of Florence! A little walk to the Central Market for  grocery shopping and then  you will start  putting your hands on the ingredients to create your own meal, driven by the expert guidance of our Chefs and then you will obviously eat the meal you prepared yourself, accompanied with two glasses of a selection of Chianti wine and get your Graduation Certificate! Balance of the day will be on your own to enjoy the city

DAY 3:
Today it will be all around on local food and the intent of our gourmet walking tour is precisely to make you feel like real "Florentines" by visiting some historic cafes and food shops frequented daily by the locals.
