PRIVATE - HIKING TO CAPO CACCIA
When visiting Alghero, a visit to Capo Caccia is a must. This
gigantic limestone promontory protects the entire Gulf. Here
the history of man and nature are indissolubly linked.
The route we propose follows the edge of the cliff overlooking
the sea. We will walk on back of this limestone giant and we
will reach 200 meters above sea level. We will enjoy unique
views over the island of Foradada and the Bay of Porto Conte.
When we will see the Lighthouse of Capo Caccia, we will
begin to descend towards the sea.
Following an ancient path we will reach one of the Spanish
defensive towers built towards the end of 1500. The path
overlooks the magnificent Porto Conte bay and the
promontory of Punta Giglio bringing us back to our starting
point.

PRIVATE - SAILING AROUND THE GULF OF ALGHERO
This day excursion by catamaran will take you to discover the
Gulf of Alghero with a stop in the protected marine area of
Capo Caccia and Isola Piana.
Here it will be possible to swim and dive from the catamaran,
you will have at your disposal masks and fins to observe the
magnificent seabed of the protected marine area, SUPs to be
able to paddle freely around our catamaran and explore the
calm bays away from the tourist crowds, or simply sunbathe
on the comfortable cushions or suspended on the catamaran
nets.
During this stop lunch will be served, prepared directly on
board by the crew.

Pick up at hotel and transfer to Alghero city centre for a
walking city tour of the Old Town, strongly influenced by
urban and cultural interventions that took place during the
Catalan Aragonese (XIV - XVIII sec.) rule. The city conserves
evidence of such period in the oldest architecture, in the
ramparts, in the portions of the walls, palaces but especially
in valuable religious monuments in Catalan Gothic style, like
the church and cloister of San Francesco. Free time for lunch

Enjoy a full day tour aboard on 4x4 vehicles to discover the beautiful island of Asinara, located in the North East of Sardinia. After a short boat transfer you will arrive in the port of Fornelli, board on the Jeeps and leave through dirt roads along the coast through breathtaking sceneries.
During the day and depending on the season you will have the chance sight wild animals such as Mouflons, white and grey donkeys and migratory birds.
You will make several stops to swim in the bays of the island, visit the sea turtle rescue centre or one of the former prisons which made Asinara so popular in Italy as a penal colony.

Bosa is the only river town in Sardinia, located at the mouth of the river Temo. The Castle of Serravalle dominates the city from above, perched on an elevated hill and was built in 1112 by the Malaspina marquises, Although only the walls remain of the original fortress, the structure is still being restored. Along the slopes of the hill, one passes through the ancient medieval quarter of Sa Costa with its cobbled streets and colourful little houses. Between one alley and the next, one explores numerous craft workshops where one can indulge in old-fashioned traditions, such as filet embroidery and the art of filigree. In addition, Bosa is renowned for the processing and export of coral, the manufacture of textiles, woven baskets and the production of an excellent quality of Malvasia wine.
